Communal Table at Edinburgh Zine Fest
Edinburgh Zine Festival is taking place 14th and 15th May 2022 in partnership with Fruitmarket Artists' Book Market. We are running a communal table at the festival, where zinesters visiting for the festival or living locally can submit their zines and have them sold by members of the zine library on their behalf at the festival, free of charge.
How does the Communal Table work?
Drop off your zines
Drop off the zines you wish to feature on the table after 9am on Saturday 14th May and/or 10am Sunday 15th May - we have space for two zine titles, up to five copies of each, costing no more than £5 each.
Your zines must be in line with our Safer Spaces Policy which in a nutshell means zines must not contain content that is intended to advance an agenda that is homophobic, transphobic, ableist, racist, sexist, etc. If you have any queries about this, please get in contact with us for clarification.
Collect your unsold zines
Collect any unsold zines from Fruitmarket before 6pm on Saturday 14th May / 5pm Sunday 15th May, or from 12pm Monday 16th May at the Art & Design Library at Central Library for up to a week afterwards (Monday 23rd May).
Unfortunately we cannot hold on to any uncollected zines indefinitely, and any zines not collected by by the deadline of Monday 23rd May will be donated to the zine library or destroyed.
Get paid
Leave with us your PayPal information so we can transfer your earnings (minus any paypal processing fees). If you don’t have PayPal, please let a member of the Edinburgh Zine Library know on the day and we will arrange an alternative payment method. Payment will be transferred up to 14 days after the event.
Please be assured your information will be stored securely in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
